Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus lineup for September 2025, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting month for subscribers. Headlining the selection is Psychonauts 2, the beloved platform-adventure game from Double Fine Studios, which—interestingly enough—is published by Xbox. This marks another sign of the growing collaboration between the two gaming giants.
Psychonauts 2 received rave reviews when it launched and offers a quirky, story-rich experience that doesn’t require playing the original to enjoy. If you’re into creative worlds and unique gameplay, this one is a must-try.
Joining the lineup is Stardew Valley, the endlessly charming farming and life simulator that has captured millions of players worldwide. Known for its addictive gameplay loop and relaxing pace, this indie hit will likely keep you busy for hours on end—whether you’re tending crops, mining, fishing, or building relationships in your virtual town.
All three of September’s PlayStation Plus games will be available to claim starting September 2. As a reminder, you only have until September 1 to grab August’s titles—Lies of P, Day Z, and My Hero One’s Justice 2—before they rotate out.
